Business Development Manager- Information Systems Delivery Services

MAVERICK Technologies is currently recruiting for an IS Delivery Business Development Manager. The BDM offers an excellent commission structure on top of a base salary. Experience selling services (not products) is crucial. We are flexible on the location.
A successful IS Delivery Business Development Manager will focus on delivering services, not products. Qualified candidates must have demonstrated the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment where operations and sales work together to plan and execute successful projects and exceed customer expectations. Must be willing to travel as needed. We are looking for BDMs in the Eastern, Midwest, Western and Southwest areas of the US and Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate will be technically savvy and have an understanding of operations technology solutions and industrial controls. Must be capable of engaging Plant Managers, V&C-level stakeholders, and building relationships!
Qualifications:
Extensive experience selling programs or services, NOT product sales.
Experienced with the consultative sales methodology
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering or other technical fields strongly preferred.
Experience with at least one of the following:
Solutions around analytics for manufacturing
Historical asset, yield, and process performance
Real-time Performance dashboards
Advanced Analytics ? Predictive and Pattern recognition
Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) solutions
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions
Preference to candidates with PTC ThingWorx sales or solution experience
Typically five years or more experience in Operations Technology systems and/or automation solutions is highly preferred.
Exceptional listening and interpersonal communication skills.
A Collaborative spirit and flexible approach to sales.
Technical Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering sales revenue from our portfolio of offerings to clients and prospects in the assigned region. Average sales revenue responsibility of $4MM annually.
Must be capable of regional and national travel to support Target Account sales.
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills including strong self motivation, focus and passion for the sales process and service to customers.
Must be passionate toward building strong customer relationships and have a proven ability to prosecute and close new business.
Achieves and exceeds revenue quota targets by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
Identifies and qualifies legitimate sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships. Negotiates contractual terms and conditions, and works with the proposal and technical teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients continuously assessing and communicating how MAVERICK can meet their needs.
Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients. Must be an accomplished user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Develops and implements sales plans and activities. Learns about MAVERICK's technologies, keeping up to date with the portfolio offerings and market trends.
The position will require supporting our business development initiatives, requiring the Sales/ Business Development Manager to initiate and organize meetings and phone calls with prospects, prepare letters and email and will require experienced prospecting and solutions closure skills.
Be the total solution consultant on delivery services opportunities. This will require facilitating a coordinated response to the clients for complex, multi-product solutions working with the proposal teams and other sales and product teams within the larger Rockwell organization.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
