University Relations Employment Branding Specialist

MAVERICK Technologies is looking for a talented University Relations Employment Branding Specialist to join our team!
Objective: This position will support MAVERICK Technologies efforts to acquire and integrate talent into the organization through assisting with the development and driving the implementation of our university relations and social media strategies. Responsibilities will include coordinating and managing campus recruitment efforts, social networking and assisting with employment branding initiatives.
The University Relations & Employment Branding specialist will partner with the Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition team, HR, Marketing and Senior leaders to build university relationships, ensure positive candidate experiences and improve our visibility as an employer of choice.
Qualifications/Criteria:
B.S. degree in a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in campus recruiting or corporate recruitment function.
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn and other sourcing technologies.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships.
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Facebook, Foursquare, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Google+.
Good understanding of social media management and analytics tools such as HootSuite.
Experience writing, editing and crafting content for the social media space.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed ?including after-hours events.
Ability to support multiple clients and manage shifting priorities.
Is willing to travel to multiple destinations for campus recruiting events.
Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives.
Technical Responsibilities:
Coordinates & manages the University Relations recruiting lifecycle ? including, but not limited to, proactive sourcing of talent for internships & new college grad roles, interview process management, screening, creating offers and closing candidates.
Understands and articulates the candidate application process and hiring process to students, new college grads, alumni, and career centers.
Leads the appropriate internal resource investment for the campus events (e.g. lines up appropriate campus representatives and interviewer).
Organizes and arranges marketing collateral and supplies for campus and intern events.
Engages externally with University staffs and career service centers to identify and secure campus recruiting events (may include contacting universities to conduct salary analysis, etc.)
Possesses a strong focus and understanding of the marketplace and the ability to manage a large quantity of candidates at any given time.
Integrates social media outlets to advertise campus events and hiring opportunities.
Identifies risks and/or challenges to the University Relations program, and suggest solutions to management to address them in order to achieve desired results.
Communicates and engages with other campus recruiting representatives to ensure college graduate hiring processes and operations are aligned with general recruiting practices.
Builds & maintains long-term relationships with select key universities, professors, administration, and student organizations.
Generates & maintains quality pipelines of candidates and the graduating co-op process.
Introduce new creative ideas to the team to encourage future growth.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media space.
Creates, manages and grows MAVERICK presence across social media channels.
Assists with consistency and updates for our employment brand and image on campus through career site, job boards, etc.
Refines and tracks university recruiting metrics for all university hiring efforts across MAVERICK Technologies including ROI, conversion rates, retention rates and costs, continually finding ways to improve the University Relations process.
Develops and refines the method to assess and select target universities by evaluating recruiting effectiveness at currently targeted universities and potential future universities, and recommending adding/dropping partnerships as appropriate.
Coordinates and participate in onboarding tasks for interns, co-ops, new grads and entry level employees as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
